Golfweek Tech Lab presented by T-Mobile for Business is a new first-of-its kind golf industry event this March 2024. In a joint venture between Golfweek, part of USA Today Sports Media Group and Gannett Co., Inc, and underdog venture team, this event will unite stakeholders in both the financial investment industry and golf communities with a curated group of over 20 technology startups with the aim to impact the business of golf.

The inaugural Tech Lab will be held in Frisco, TX, in collaboration with PGA of America and Omni Hotels, on March 20-21. The event will feature over 20 emerging companies, as well as panelists, and featured keynote speakers that are investing in the sport.

Best-in-Show

Golfweek Tech Lab will hold a best-in-show competition with participating companies looking to earn best in show recognition across four categories, as well as a grand prize. Eight judges will evaluate each startup based on set criteria, including their video submissions, onsite demonstration, and presentation to judges. Event attendees will receive a vote as well, weighted against the judges vote.

Grand prize winner will receive $25,000 and be featured on the cover of Golfweek. Category winners will receive an editorial in Golfweek and 1:1 mentorship course from an industry expert.
